On July 16–17, 2025, the management team of Ball Technic (Thailand) Co., Ltd. participated in the “Sustainable Innovative Organization” activity organized by the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) or NIA, under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), in collaboration with Sustainism (Stnsm.org).The event was part of the ClimateX Acceleration Program 2025, bringing together leading Thai companies to support businesses in advancing systematically toward the Net Zero goal through innovation.

The first day began with the “Sustainable Innovative Organization” Briefing, laying the foundation for developing innovation-driven and sustainable organizations.Executives and teams from selected organizations joined the session, which was honored by an opening speech from Dr. Krishphaka Boonfeung, Executive Director of NIA, who welcomed all participants.This was followed by an overview of the Sustainable Innovative Organization activities and the operational framework of the ClimateX Acceleration Program, presented by Mr. Petch Prapakittikul, Director of Sustainism and Climate & Sustainability at AFMA.The session continued with insights into the Innovative Organization Model and systematic innovation management by Dr. Chairat Limapornvanich, Director of the Innovation Strategy Department, NIA, and concluded with a presentation on the Climate Tech Acceleration Program 2025, highlighting the connection between the business sector and ClimateX participants to foster growth in a sustainable green economy, delivered by Dr. Nimit Nipatthamrakul, Innovation Development Manager, Business Innovation Promotion Department, NIA.



The second day featured a hands-on “Sustainable Innovative Organization” Workshop held at UOB Plaza, Bangkok, supported by UOB Finlab as the venue sponsor.The morning session provided in-depth knowledge on key aspects of sustainable organizational development, including:

  • Global to Local Risk Perspectives” shared by Dr. Thirach Rungreungkanokkul, Director of AFMA (UN, FAO)

  • An overview of the ESG Framework by Mr. Petch Prapakittikul, Director of Sustainism and Climate & Sustainability, AFMA

  • Insights on Carbon Laws and Tax Trends by Dr. Natcha Likhitkitworakul, Advisor to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment

  • An introduction to UOB Sustainable Finance Framework & Solutions by Mr. Ballang Wongthavatchai, Senior Director, Head of Digital Engagement & Fintech Innovation, UOB Thailand

  • A session on Sustainable Business Development and Green Loan Applications by Mr. Satit Booncholok, Executive Vice President, Head of Product Management, Customer Experience and Digital, UOB Thailand



The afternoon session focused on a Workshop on Understanding Buyer Needs and ESG Risks, where 15 ClimateX teams engaged in collaborative discussions with representatives from leading sustainability-driven companies, including:

Through knowledge sharing and experience exchange, both sides identified common ground in understanding sustainability-related risks — critical factors directly influencing organizational competitiveness in the green economy era.Participants gained awareness that international environmental regulations, carbon tax measures, consumer pressures, and ESG requirements from major buyers are inevitable challenges in today’s production and export supply chains.

This collaboration marks a significant starting point in building a sustainable innovation ecosystem, where businesses, innovators, and policymakers can synergize to design systemic solutions that drive the transition toward a Net Zero Economy — in tangible and globally credible ways.
