Ball Technic (Thailand) Co., Ltd. continues to reinforce its success as a leader in green technology by participating in the official signing ceremony to receive innovation project funding from the National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) (NIA) on March 11, 2026. The objective is to accelerate energy conservation innovations toward full-scale implementation in the industrial sector.

This funding support is a direct result of the company’s strong potential, following its achievement of winning the 2nd runner-up award (3rd place) at the national-level innovation competition, Climate X Demo Day. NIA recognized the effectiveness of Ball Technik’s developed technology as a tangible solution to climate change challenges.

Highlighting Innovation to Enhance “Chiller Systems” for Sustainable Industry

The innovation supported in this initiative focuses on improving the efficiency and addressing key challenges of large-scale air conditioning systems,

or Chiller Systems, which are the core cooling systems and among the highest electricity-consuming components in commercial buildings and industrial facilities. The company’s innovation tackles the issue of scale buildup within heat exchanger tubes, with key highlights as follows:

  • Significant Energy Savings:

Our technology automatically maintains the cleanliness of heat exchanger tubes, allowing chiller systems to operate at peak efficiency at all times. This reduces energy losses and significantly lowers unnecessary electricity costs.

  • 100% Chemical-Free:

This is a physical cleaning technology that reduces and replaces the need for chemical water treatment in cooling systems. It is environmentally friendly and helps reduce the burden of wastewater treatment in industrial operations.

  • Supporting Net Zero Goals:

By reducing energy consumption in large-scale air conditioning and machinery systems, the technology directly contributes to lowering carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions, helping businesses move toward genuine sustainability goals.

A Key Milestone Toward Commercial Expansion

With the support from NIA, Ball Technic plans to utilize this funding as a key driver to expand its innovation into the commercial market. This includes further research and development to support a wider range of chiller system applications across various industries, as well as elevating technological standards to compete at both national and international levels.

This collaboration between Ball Technik and NIA marks not only a significant milestone in business growth but also serves as a catalyst for deploying Thai-developed innovations to upgrade large-scale air conditioning systems nationwide. Ultimately, it contributes to driving Thailand toward a “Net Zero and Low-Carbon Society” while fostering true environmental sustainability.
